Next October 21, the Col·legi d’Aparelladors, Arquitectes Tècnics i Enginyers d’Edificació de Barcelona [Association of Quantity Surveyors, Technical Architects and Building Engineers of Barcelona] (CAATEEB) is organising BIM 4 Students, an event intended to bring BIM closer to the sector’s future professionals. The BIM 4 Students event is part of the seventh edition of the European BIM Summit, due to be held in a hybrid format (attendance-based and streaming) in the World Trade Center of Barcelona on October 22.
BIM 4 Students concentrates the collaborative spirit and the social commitment of BIM and will give future professionals from the digital technologies in building the chance to see BIM being actually applied to a specific project of worldwide relevance.
The event has been conceived specifically for architecture, technical architecture and engineering students, and for medium and higher Vocational Training students from the building and construction sector.
To commemorate the event’s return to the attendance-based format, it will be dedicated to the most emblematic building of the European BIM Summit’s host city: the Sagrada Familia.
With the title of «The application of BIM in the Sagrada Familia», two of the main managers involved in the building of this Expiry Temple in Barcelona will explain how Building Information Modelling is being used in the process.
You can register for BIM 4 Students free at this link.
