The European BIM Summit, a reference event in Europe in BIM technologies, is making a combined effort offering a triple added-value format: a preliminary online event (BIM Xp), the EBS + (also online) and, as the icing on the cake, the classic in-situ European BIM Summit , to be held in spring at the scheduled site: the World Trade Center of Barcelona.
This 3-event calendar will be arranged as follows: the EBS + will be held on November 19, and the in-situ European BIM Summit on April 22 and 23, 2021.Both congresses will include admission to a previous event to be held on Octo
ber 15, the BIM Xp. Overall, the resulting collaborative event will ultimately constitute a first-order event for BIM segment professionals.
Registration for the BIM Xp and the EBS + will be free for everyone who was already registered for the in-situ event (before it was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic) or for those who register before November 19.
The registration fee for anyone who wants to sign up for the EBS+, the registration price until August 31 will be € 50 (discount code EBS + 2020). This amount can be deducted from the registration price of the European BIM Summit 2021, as long as there are places available. If you prefer, you can reserve your place for the European Bim Summit 2021 before August 31 for € 195 (discount code 01EBS2150) and attend EBS + for free. In addition, both events give you the opportunity to attend BIM Xp for free. The registration fee for CAATEEB members will be €25 up until the day before the Congress.
3 events in 1
With a totally revamped format, the international summit on Building Information Modelling (BIM) will be based mainly on collaboration. For the first time at an event of these characteristics, the focus will be on the attendees, who will take control of the Congress: they will participate in the production of collaboration-based work documents, they will vote on the topics to be addressed at future editions and will be able to get involved and interact with the speakers at any time during the event.
The BIM Xp will open this triple event with introductory presentations about BIM. It will be comprised of a selection of 45-minute-long webinars given by working professionals. Registration for this first event will be free for anyone who has already registered for the European BIM Summit and the EBS+.
The EBS +, which will have an online format, will include 4 internationally renowned Keynote Speakers, 9 case studies and 3 round tables. Moreover, the end of the event will feature a presentation with the final conclusions, thus providing an added-value document containing all the work done in the course of the event. This 1st edition will be closed with an informal participation-based session, the BIM Beer. See program
Finally, and after these two preparatory events, the in-situ European BIM Summit will be held on April 22 and 23. The Congress at the World Trade Centre will be attended by over 400 people and will also be offered in streaming for anyone who chooses to attend it from their offices or homes.
