Graduated as an engineer from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
Worked as projects manager with Grands Travaux de Marseille (now Vinci) from 1977 to 1990, and then till 2015, always in the same group, at different technical functions: director of equipment department, prestressing expert, technical and scientific director of Vinci Construction France, including RDI and sustainable development. Member of several research institutes scientific committees. Founding partner of French Institute for Energy Transition (ITE) Efficacity. Partner of the French Communic research project.
Presently chairman of digitization committee of FNTP (French national federation for public works), chairman of guidance committee of French RGCU (Urban and civil works network, branch of MEDDE) and chairman of National Research Project MINnD.
